Hi! I’m Stacie, the Founder of Superb Bakehouse, a mom to two amazing kids and my rescue fur baby, Sadie. It started with the scary diagnosis of life threatening food allergies and the need for a special diet. It morphed into a thriving, healthy boy (my son) and a ‘job’ I could not have dreamed of. My waffle recipes came from my home kitchen, where I first baked them with love for my children. They had to be delicious and nutrient rich for their growing minds and bodies. Unwilling to compromise on taste and ingredients with the frozen waffles at the store, I created my own.

With a folding table, waffles and a spoonful of joy I started selling in my local farmer’s market. From there I took my toaster and my story and talked to anyone that could put me in their store. Today we have flourished into a respected brand delivering the taste of homemade without compromise. What initially felt like a curse to my son and family now feels like the most incredible blessing: his good health and touching thousands of families nationwide with our small batch artisan waffles.

Same delectable waffles, new name. You may have first met our waffles as Lopaus Point, named after the enchanting coastal Maine location where I grew up as a child. It was there that my doting mother, Eva, instilled the love of cooking and baking in me. These gifts were early seeds that are rooted today in how we make our waffles. We use the best ingredients you’d find in a home pantry, a special process to mix and bake and we always add a spoonful of love. We heard you and all the fun attempts to pronunciate our name (Lōpûs) Point. We agree, it should be easier. Our new name tells about who we are and what we do at our core. We use Superb ingredients and we Bake with love. Welcome to Superb Bakehouse!
